This was an even game with the points deservedly shared.  Grampound had the better of the first half ^{with Ben Taylor giving Grampound the lead with a tidy well-taken goal midway through. Unfortunately, on the stroke of half time the visitors scored their equaliser when a corner was dealt with messily by Grampound's defenders and the ball ended up in the net when it should have been easily cleared.}

^{The second half saw Grampound lose their initiative a little and in the last 15 minutes it took some excellent and on occasions some desperate defending to protect their goal. However, Grampound held on to earn a valuable point.}
